5. Customer data and platform use

In the context of the B3 platform and related services, “Customer Data” generally means data, information, content, records, or files that a customer or its authorised users load into, transmit to, connect to, or make available through the B3 platform or related services.

B3 Systems processes Customer Data to provide the platform, operate integrations, deliver analytics, support customer workflows, troubleshoot issues, provide professional services, maintain security, and fulfil our obligations under applicable agreements.

Customer Data may include operational data, business data, technical data, and personal information, depending on what a customer chooses to connect, upload, or make available to the platform.

Customer control

Customers are responsible for determining what data they provide to the B3 platform, ensuring they have appropriate rights and permissions to provide that data, and managing access for their authorised users.

Aggregated and de-identified information

We may generate aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified information from platform usage, operational patterns, system performance, or service interactions. We use this information to understand trends, improve services, support analytics, and enhance the reliability and performance of B3 Systems offerings.

6. AI and data processing

Some B3 Systems features use artificial intelligence, machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation, specialised agents, orchestration, analytics, and related technologies to help users ask questions, generate insights, explain anomalies, surface recommendations, and support operational decision-making.

For AI-enabled platform features, B3 Systems is designed to support privacy, governance, and trust in industrial environments.

Data minimisation

We aim to process only the information needed to provide the requested service, workflow, insight, or response.

Anonymisation

Sensitive operational information may be masked, anonymised, or replaced with placeholders before external AI processing where applicable.

Customer isolation

Customer environments are designed to remain separate, and customer-specific learning is not intended to be shared across organisations.

Model governance

Where third-party AI providers are used, B3 Systems uses contractual and technical controls designed to limit use of customer data to the requested service.

Important: AI-generated outputs can have limitations, including accuracy, completeness, hallucinations, bias, and context limitations. Users should review AI-assisted outputs before relying on them for operational, commercial, safety, or business-critical decisions.
